Our vineyards are located in Jammertál and Csillagvölgy dűlő and in Dobogó, Kenderföld and Várerdő dűlő in Nagyharsány. The new plantations are found in Ördögárok in Villány, and in Völgyi dűlő in Nagytótfalu. In cultivation, it is very important that the grapes are properly cared for. In our plantations we mainly use the so-called umbrella cultivation. Yield on the vines is restrained; there is only one shoot instead of the classic two. If necessary, yield is even reduced by green harvest. This is one of the reasons for our wines having a high concentration. Bunches have to hang loosely and may not touch each other. Only those grapes may be harvested that are absolutely healthy and fully ripe. |
